Slow down progress, that thing is unstable
Do they even speak to each other at the dinner table?
The attention span of little Dookie is a deficit
Asking a stranger about facts is now illicit 

Eyes on the screen and the ears are now plugged
You know nothing if your new soul is not logged
The Evolution Theory gave us Dumb and Dumber
Without electricity, which one of us is clever?

The Awakening of the Bard

It happens when you spell loneliness backwards or in a disorderly way  
It becomes obvious when no one is a witness of that solitude you share with ghosts you've created for social reasons 

You wake up a man of the pen 
From that moment, all that matters is love

Everything else is pride and vanity with a very emotional expiration date
